These are so awesome! They are great on their own as leggings and I look forward to rocking them as a base layer this winter too. I was right on the cusp of med and large (31”waist and 42” hip) and went with the large, I was a little worried they wouldn’t be as snug as I wanted but they fit perfectly and are so comfy. My favourite thing about the fit is the ample, no elastic waistband, it’s snug enough to keep the legging up, but no tight elastic. Love them!

These run small

So I ordered these in size small as I have the original legging (ordered last year) and the small fits perfect to somewhat roomy. These pocket leggings run small. I am 5’7 and 125 and very difficult to get over my ankles and very snug fit around my waist and hips. Not a lot of stretch.

These leggings are great! I’m 5’4” and the length of these is perfect. I like the height of the rise and the compression. They are cozy and stylish. I love the pockets and they could be a bit higher.
I also like that these leggings have compression and they are not skin tight. They have a nice give in the knees making these leggings extra cozy. I will definitely be getting more when they are restocked!

New pockets legging review

My waist is 33/34cm; hips 41. Previously I’ve chosen L size in the leggings to accommodate my softer tummy and to wear as a thermal base layer for winter, camping PJs, around the house, etc. I tried running in them last Winter but they fell down, so I took a chance and ordered these in a size M, knowing the waist in the pants is soft/stretchy.

They fit! And I think they’ll stay up for running or XC skiing on warmer Winter days. I would suggest looking very closely at the hip measurement if you are planning to wear them as winter active wear. They have a bit less give than the usual SM leggings and are not see through. By choosing the smaller size I also appreciate they might not last as long due to increased tension on the garment during wear.

I wish the pocket started a tiny bit higher for ease of use but love the large pocket size which holds my cell phone easily and a couple dog bags in the other side. The wool is strong but fragile so I wouldn’t put keys or anything too sharp or heavy in them. I’m 5’6” and the length is perfect for me.

Details

Restocking sizes early October.

High waisted, opaque, french-terry leggings with deep side-leg pockets. These leggings are the same pattern as our Thermal Leggings but thicker and with pockets. Super soft and warm — perfect for layering or wearing on their own.

FIT - Not as stretchy as our Thermal Leggings. If you are in-between sizes, we suggest sizing up. Take measurements for hips and thighs rather than waist. No troublesome elastic waistband is required as fit is cozy and snug. Leg length is long for tall ladies, and tight at the ankles for those who need to scrunch or fold up the hem.

MATERIAL - 94 % Australian Merino wool. 6% Elastane.

Please refer to our fitting guide for measurements.
